This is a very difficult time for all of us. Things feel like they’re upside down, and we all just want to feel normal again. We at PetProGo want to let you know that we are here for you and your pets, and we want nothing more than to make things feel less stressful for you.
PetProGo is Providing Essential Services
Caring for your pets is an essential service.
As some people are returning to work outside of their homes, we know you are concerned about your fur friends adjusting to not having you around as much. We can help make the transition easier for them and for you, by providing a check-in, with or without a walk.
Many of you are essential workers or medical staff battling COVID on the front lines. We applaud you for everything you are doing, and we know that this means you need someone who can assist you in caring for your pets because you may be working longer hours.
For those that are still working from home at the moment, we understand how difficult it can be to juggle everything. It’s not easy to shift your focus from work to take your pet for a walk. Working from home can mean even longer hours in some cases. We still have you covered.
On top of that, it's back to school season. If you are having to navigate distance learning now, time with your pet is probably back of mind. And we don't blame you.
We are still providing you our services while protecting you and others by avoiding contact with any humans who may be present in your home. We will, of course, be utilizing the proper PPE at all times, to ensure everyone is protected.
We also understand that you may need to just get away from it all. Maybe you have planned a retreat away from people but cannot take your dog or cat. We are still here to pet sit and make sure that your pet not only gets fed but also gets all the love and attention they would get from you if you were home.
Our pets are creatures of habit, and they are far more intuitive than we realize. If you need help managing the changes in their routine and want to get them a little bit of ‘normal’, we are here to help!
What We Can Help With
You have enough on your plate. Worrying about your fur friend may be the last on your mind, and we don’t blame you.
Even though the world is going through major changes right now, our devotion to providing loving and trustworthy pet care has not stopped.
We are still providing:
Dog Runs- If your high-energy pooch can’t stand to be cooped up, we will gladly take them out and help them burn off that energy.
Dog Hikes- We can get your dog out and ensure social distancing while taking them on a Los Angeles trail hike.
Appointments- If you are an essential worker or immunocompromised and trying to avoid exposure to people, we can take your pet to their appointments for you.
Cat Visits- We can’t forget about our kitties. If you are working extra hours and need someone to come play with your cat - and give them extra cuddles - we will gladly make sure they’re getting all the love they need. Worried about cat care while you take a trip away for the first time in awhile? We're happy to help to keep your cat comfortable with this adjustment.
PetProGo’s Safety Guidelines
These are scary times. You may be wondering what we are doing to make sure we are keeping everyone safe. Rest assured, we are doing everything possible to make sure you and your pets are protected. We are following strict guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID, so you can feel comfortable leaving your pets in our care.
We will be utilizing the necessary PPE to ensure that nothing unwelcome comes into your home. We are wearing masks and sanitizing all surfaces we come in contact with. When necessary and in the event that a surface cannot be properly sanitized, our team is wearing disposable gloves
While out with your pup, we make sure we maintain strict social distancing guidelines. We will not get within six feet of any other pets or people. We will be masked outside to avoid any accidental exposure to people who do not respect the 6-foot rule.
We are using our own leashes, poop dispensers, and poop bags on walks. This means that we do not need their leash or poop bags made available to us at pickup.
If someone happens to be home while we are present, we will avoid human contact. Please leave any items your dog might need for their walk near the front door. Since we're using our own doggy gear, this may likely only include things like harnesses or collars that they are not already wearing.
Our team is committed to staying up to date on all the regulations and any news involving pet safety and COVID. We monitor guidelines, so as new preventative strategies are released, we can make sure they are implemented immediately.
We understand that you want to protect your family, furry and non-furry, during this outbreak. We are doing our utmost to ensure that we are providing you with the security you deserve. We do ask that you do the same for us. Our team is like our family, and they all have families of their own. We ask that you respect their right to feel safe and secure while performing their jobs. If we all do the right thing, we will get through this safely!
PetProGo Is Here For You
Unfortunately, it seems that we will need to adapt to this ‘new normal’ for the long haul. We will still be here for you and your furry family members to help you make it through.
We are so lucky to have a wonderful team that stepped up and took charge of creating best practices for your safety and that of your pets. As things evolve and we learn more about COVID and its potential effect on pet safety, we will re-examine our protocols so we can continue to provide the best care.
We are absolutely committed to the safety of our clients, their families, and our amazing team. Our hope is that by continuing to provide you with our services, we can make some part of your life easier and less stressful. If we all work together, we will get through this trying time and be a stronger community in spite of it.
We appreciate your continued support through all of this. We have built an amazing community of people. We love your pets and look forward to continuing to care for them.
Whether you are a regular client or are new to our family, we care about you and your concerns. If you have any questions about our safety protocols, feel free to reach out to us here.
